What’s the big deal with the 85207 zip code in East Mesa? Well, for one it’s got some of the best schools in all of Mesa. Like Zaharis Elementary and Red Mountain High School, where both my kids attended. Second, the Saguaro Lake is about 15 minutes away and I can drive me and my paddle board down the street and get in the Salt River. (Okay, it’s a really long street but still!) If I’m lucky, I’ll even spy the wild horses eating grass while submerged in the river. It’s magical! There are many great restaurants, some family owned and very involved in our community. Two of my favorites are D’Vine (it really is divine) and Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge. We have a fantastic executive 9-hole golf course (Viewpoint – because I cannot play more than 9 holes in a row) and they also offer a full 18-hole championship course. There is plenty of shopping for you to get all your necessities and then some. Last but not least we live in the shadows of plenty of mountains – this is not the flat desert you think it is. Hike up to the Wind Cave in Usery Park or head over to the Hawes Trail System Entrance just past Las Sendas. On any given weekday morning you can find me running any of the numerous other trails in Usery (the flat ones, the really flat ones). I can assure you that no matter which hiking spot you choose, you won’t be disappointed by the views or the landscape! This is a killer zip code to call home so don’t waste another minute living some where you don’t love! I can help you find the perfect house to call home today.
